Marketing Automation Specialist

This is a part-time contract position.

Ashandelle is looking for a wizard whose library of spells are the apps and services that help websites succeed, from Google Analytics and Tag Manager to HubSpot, Semrush, and beyond.

This is a part-time, as-needed position, typically about 10-15 hours per week, although we expect that to grow over time. The ideal candidate is a full-time freelancer who is responsive and available during business hours.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary from project to project and client to client so flexibility and the ability to manage your own schedule will be huge strengths.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Collaborate with remote team members and clients
  • Manage clients' Google Tag Manager (GTM) including privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Manage clients' Google Analytics (GA) including goals, campaigns, and reporting
  • Manage clients' Google Search Console, Adwords, and other web tools
  • Assist clients in HubSpot — everything from lead scoring to dashboards and more
  • Assist clients with additional tracking and automation tools as-needed (ex: HotJar, Chilipiper, etc.)
  • SEO optimization including keyword analysis, content recommendations, competitive analysis, and more
  • Analyze data to identify areas of opportunity for clients
  • Audit existing client tools and workflows

Job requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Expert with Google's suite of tools including Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console
  • Expert with HubSpot's marketing automation tools
  • Experienced with SEO tools such as Semrush
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing tools like Optimizely and VWO
  • Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum four years on-the-job experience
